Why animals shouldn't be held in captivity

Why animals should not be held in captivity.

Most people would agree why animals shouldn’t be held in captivity. I will convince beyond doubt as to why animals shouldn’t be held in captivity.

Doesn’t everybody know that God has created all animals to be free? Animals are born free, the zoo isn’t their natural environment. The forests and wild are their natural environment. The real truth is that we shouldn’t be keeping animals in captivity. Would you like to be held in an  enclosure?

In the zoo, people who visit the animals mock and tease them. Only a fool would not know if animals have feelings or not. Just because they are different to us doesn’t mean we must be cruel towards them. Did you know throwing rubbish, cigarettes, and stones can harm the innocent animals?  Would like stuff to be thrown at you?

In the zoos the animals are fed with food full of chemicals. When the animals are fed, could affect the health of the animals. This could lead to sickness and even death. If the animals were kept out in the wild they would know how to obtain or find their own food. Keeping them in an enclosure, they wouldn’t have a clue what to do in the wild. The animals need natural food that is  beneficial to their bodies to make them healthy and strong.

You know in the zoos there are animals that need to be let out. Here are three animals that need to be let out into the wild. Firstly tigers are born to hunt. If the tigers are held in captivity they will not know what to do, because all their food is getting thrown at them without them hunting it themselves. If you released  them into the wild they would have no clue what to do in the wild. Therefore tigers would be lazy if you keep them held in captivity because everything is being done for them. Secondly birds are born with wings, when they are ready to be let out they fly away but when the  birds are held in captivity they wouldn’t be able to fly because the space is restricted. Lastly the monkeys  shouldn’t be held in captivity. Monkeys should be jumping around, swinging on vines and hanging upside down. But did you know in the zoos, the space is restricted. If you go to the zoo and see their face they are not as happy as they would be in their natural habitat.

In conclusion, I have provided you with adequate reasons as to why animals shouldn't be held in captivity. I have reminded you that the food is mixed with chemicals, that the people who visit the zoo throw objects at them and the three animals that need to live in their natural environment. I now trust you would agree with me that animals shouldn’t be held in captivity.
